MOT Classes Explained
Ord Road Garage provides MOTs for Class 1,2,4 & 7 vehicles
Class 1
Class 1 MOTS cover smaller engine mopeds and motorcycle vehicles with engines up to 200cc
Class 2
Class 2 MOT checks are for the more powerful road bikes and motorcycles with engines over 200cc
Class 4
Class 4 MOT checks are for most cars or motor vehicles that have up to 8 passenger seats that weigh up to 3,000KG
class 7
The class 7 MOT is for goods vehicles weighing from 3,000 – 3,500 KG including larger transit vans and trucks
